Background

The Principal, Michael Whitmore is forty-seven years old, and is based in northern Tasmania. For fifteen years he held senior corporate and commercial positions in the Launceston area. These include Group Accountant followed by Company Secretary of a listed public company group, as well as Commercial Manager and Chief Financial Officer positions in two substantial private business organisations.

In September 2000 he commenced practice as an Accounting Consultant, aiming to provide the benefit of his commercial and corporate experience to the wider financial community. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, since 1984, after completing a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at University of Tasmania.
